Gallbladder...
Dear Pharmacist
I had gallbladder surgery on Tuesday. I need some assistance using the bathroom. Please provide my husband the necessary medication to bring home to me. You have to excuse him as he is a little shy.
Thanks

milestones or stones in the path
G3 has made huge progress in his verbal skills. His favorite new word to say is penis. He has only said this in the bath tub. I am waiting for him to announce this at dinner time with Nana. The books all say to teach your child the correct name for their body part. I guess if I would have called a tallywhacker he wouldn't have been able to pronounce that.
I had a recommendation to buy him the DVD cars. A mom told me that it was her sons favorite and that every boy should have one. So, I went out and bought it. He loves it! L O V E S! This DVD. He screams CARS! He points to the DVD and then to the tv. He says CARs first thing when he wakes up. He is obsessed with CARs now. If their is a car on a commercial he is so happy and screams car. He points to every car we see while driving in the car. I wonder if he will be a race car driver or an automechanic. His favorite car commerical is of course the Lexus. He has big dreams.
He has also learned to nap when he wants to nap. Now this works great sometimes. He will point upstairs when he is tired and go right to sleep. Yesterday, he did not want a nap and threw everything out of the crib. Sheesh!
A list of his vocabulary. I don't want to forget!

Ditchin music class from stacey budke on Vimeo.
G3 talked little Gabriella into ditching the circle and hanging out in the back of the classroom.
causing trouble at music class
Troublemaker from stacey budke on Vimeo.
G3 did not want to sit in the circle at music class today. He wanted to play his own instrument and sing his own song.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving used to be special when I was growing up. It was full of tradition and family. I looked forward to it every year. It is now my turn to start family traditions. I was disappointed in the change in the extended family tradition last year. Now this year the change has come to my immediate family. I still have disappointment, but Thanksgiving will still be special.

Charades
G3 has learned that if he points to something he can get it. We are now playing charades at meal time. He points to the freezer and then to the toaster oven. This indicates that he would like something from the freezer to eat. Now we get to take out many items to figure out what he wants. He does now know how to say pancake and bacon. This has been his main staple for breakfast and lunch.

We need to do an emergency safety stop
Attention St. Louis Zoo Goers! Have you seen this woman?
We had an unfortunate event happen at the zoo today. We went for an innocent ride on the Carousel. The ride was free today before 11:00. G3 loves the Carousel. We carefully selected what animal for him to ride. We chose the Giraffe. He had on a Giraffe T-Shirt today. We found the Giraffe and G3 saddled up. Grandma stood by the Giraffe carefully following Zoo policy. I mounted the Horse next to the Giraffe. I thought I could get good pics of G3 and wave to him. We noticed at the start that the Giraffe did not move. Grandma handed G3 to me. We were riding the horse together. As soon as she placed him on the saddle and announcement was made. "WE NEED TO DO AN EMERGENCY SAFETY STOP" I had know clue what was going on. An older Zoo employee informed me that only one person can ride an animal at a time. I was so embarrassed that I immediately dismounted. Everyone was staring at me. It was a full ride with a long line of zoo goers waiting for their turn.
Now, after we got off the Carousel we checked the rules. It does not state anywhere in the rules that only one person can ride at a time. Now we were on a Horse not a pony or a little penguin. Was it a weight limit? The horse was still able to gallop up and down.
Do they have a zoo members alliance society that I should contact? Will I be blacklisted from the Carousel? I am sure that is the only job the old timer does at the zoo. He is sure to remember me. Will I forever be the "one" who tried to ride double on the horse? Will they not allow me to renew my membership?
I guess I should read my zoo members handbook front to back before the next zoo trip!
