Growing up!

G3 wanted to hold his bottle this morning. He doesn't need mom to hold it anymore. He wants to do everything himself. What's next? Is he going to be driving next week? Sheesh!

Terrible Two's at 10 months

Can the terrible two's start now? We had a full blown temper tantrum. Back was arched. Fists were clenched. Legs were kicking. Red face. Loud screams. --all because we did not want to get dressed.

The baby's urine has turned to gel

I received a panicked phone call this morning from the husband. The baby slept in today so the husband had to change him, dress him, and feed him by himself. During the diaper change he noticed yellow gel leaking out of the diaper. He thought something was terribly wrong with the baby. I explained to him how diapers work and that the liquid that is put into diapers forms a gel.


You can tell how many diapers he's changed. Sheesh!

Dear G3,

Aunt Laura threw away the strainer. Mommy had to borrow your beach toy to drain the mac and cheese. Don't worry I washed the sand and lake water off first. Do you think the guests know what I used to strain the mac and cheese?

Finally a night of just us three. No dinner party. No one to entertain. We went to a new park and played on the jungle gym. We used the swing set and climbed trees.

Then we had a fun time in the spa jacuzzi bath tub.

I looked in the mirror and what did i see
A big cowlick looking back at me

Well I am moose with a cowlick thats what I am
there is one thing I don't understand
a cow is slow and a moose is quick
So how did i get this silly cowlick
